Author Gerda Antti has died at age 96, according to reports. She passed away in Kisa, Sweden. Antti debuted in 1961 with the poetry collection "Här och nu".
She was born in 1929 in Övertorneå, Norrbotten, and moved to Stockholm in 1950, where she met and later married author Walter Ljungquist. The couple relocated to Kisa in the mid-1950s. A friend, Gunnar Dittmer, reportedly said, "Det känns tungt" (It feels heavy).
