Parents in Kalmar are expressing frustration and concern as their preschool-aged children face yet another relocation, according to a report from Barometern-OT. Annie and Marcus Lindblad, whose four-year-old daughter has experienced five previous moves in three years, say their child will face a sixth relocation this autumn when approximately 20 preschool children are moved from Kyrkskolan in Rockneby to temporary pavilions at Förskolan Torsbäcken.
Annie Lindblad told the newspaper that each relocation triggers renewed night terrors for her daughter. 'Every time there's a move, the night terrors start again,' she said.

The relocation is reportedly due to declining birth rates in Kalmar, which has led the municipality to temporarily close Kyrkskolan. The affected children will begin attending the temporary pavilion facilities at Förskolan Torsbäcken starting in the autumn term.
The Lindblads, along with other parents, are concerned about the repeated disruptions to their children's education and stability, particularly as their daughter was hoping to complete her preschool education at Kyrkskolan before the forced move.
