Mora IK has announced that five players are leaving the club after their season ended in the quarterfinals of the HockeyAllsvenskan. The team finished tenth in the league and was eliminated by Södertälje with a 2-0 series loss, losing both games by a combined score of 1-8. The departing players are Connor MacEachern, Ethan De Jong, Brayden Tracey, Kristoffer Gunnarsson, and Gustav Olhaver.

MacEachern was the team's top scorer with 38 points in 41 games, and De Jong led in goals with 17. According to reports, MacEachern and De Jong are set to join HPK in Finland. Gunnarsson, who joined Mora in 2019, played 361 games and served as assistant captain for the past four seasons.

Olhaver came from Tingsryd last season, and Tracey joined in November. Sport director Andreas Hägglund confirmed the departures in an interview, stating that the team will need to rebuild.
