Key Points
  • Five Guys relaunches BOGO promotion after initial failure
  • New promotion runs March 9-12, online/app only with code FGAFTERPARTY
  • Five Guys awards $1.5M in employee bonuses for initial promotion efforts

Five Guys launched a BOGO promotion with burgers to celebrate its 40th birthday on February 17, but due to an overwhelming public response, the chain was not able to cater to every customer during the initial promotion. To make up for the mistake, Five Guys is hosting a 40th After Party promotion from March 9 through March 12, which can be redeemed online or using the Five Guys app by purchasing any burger at regular price and using the promotional code FGAFTERPARTY. The deal cannot be used in-store and only applies to participating Five Guys locations across Canada and the United States.

5 million in bonuses to store employees for their efforts during the initial promotion. Meanwhile, Wendy's announced it is hiring a Chief Tasting Officer with an annual salary of $100,000. The Chief Tasting Officer's responsibilities include eating Wendy's food and sharing review videos, and they can work from home.

Wendy's is hiring a Chief Tasting Officer. You'll help bring the vibes, taste and creativity to the company in ways no one else can. YES, THIS IS REAL.

Wendy's, Company

Basically, you'll get paid to eat Wendy's, be chill, maybe make some content and maybe even star in ads. Whether it's quarterly vlog check-ins, taste trending, or whatever, you'll make cheddar just for liking cheddar.
