  • Five defendants face murder charges with varying pleas to related offences

Sarah Kasseum testified that she was smoking crack cocaine in a parked car outside while Paul Foster was fatally stabbed inside a nearby flat. According to Daily Express - UK News, Sarah Kasseum described being in the living room with others and then leaving. She also stated that Dylan Blundell told her he witnessed Michael Fields passing a knife to Zayd Alasaly, who reportedly gave a smack to Paul Foster. Kasseum denied any intention for the victim to be killed or seriously injured, and she maintained she had no knowledge that others present at the flat were armed with a knife and an air pistol, and was unaware of any planned robbery.

Kasseum described being a crack cocaine user for many years and selling drugs to fund her habit. She recalled being at Tony Conroy's home on St Mary's Close in Wavertree hours before the stabbing. The attackers were reportedly armed with a knife and an imitation firearm during the robbery, and they made off with drugs and cash from the property before fleeing the scene.

I was having a pipe in the living room. I think Ziggy [Abrahim] and Dylan were in the living room with me. Zayd, Mick and Tony were in the kitchen talking. We had our pipe and then we got off.

Sarah Kasseum, Defendant

It keeps me awake really. I'm having my pipe, chilling. I'd been up for two or three days. I was alright. I was aware what was going on around me.

Sarah Kasseum, Defendant

Just the usual. Chatting s****. Mick waffling on. His usual s****. Crack talk basically, nothing out the ordinary.
