A fire broke out in a trash room of an apartment building in the Gränby district of Uppsala. According to Polisen Uppsala Händelser, police were ordered to the scene due to the fire in a trash room belonging to a multi-family house. When police arrived, the fire was still burning but was extinguished.
A report of arson was filed to investigate the cause of the fire, and the area was cordoned off pending a technical investigation. Uppsala Nya Tidning reports that the fire occurred in a stairwell of a multi-family house on Bruno Liljeforsgatan, with the alarm going off and rescue services on their way. The cause of the fire is reportedly under investigation.
