In Finland, rain may be heavier on Tuesday, with the first showers arriving from the west during Tuesday evening. More substantial precipitation is also expected on Wednesday, coming as rain in the south and possibly as sleet or snow further north. Snow has practically disappeared from southern and central Finland, though local patches may remain in shaded areas.
In Lapland, there is still considerable snow, though it is also starting to diminish. On Sunday, fine spring weather with sun and temperatures around ten degrees is expected to make a comeback in large parts of Sweden. A substantial weather change is expected next weekend in Sweden, with cold air coming down and low-pressure systems moving in, potentially bringing more drama in the weather, such as deep low pressures, larger precipitation areas, and snowstorms.
Easter brings really rough weather in Sweden, with the British storm Dave passing on Sunday, bringing both rain and storm gusts. On Easter Eve, several places in Sweden had a snowy start.
