Filip Dagerstål has signed a contract with IFK Norrköping that runs until July 7. The 29-year-old defender, who last played a competitive match in October 2023, has been training with the club recently to recover from injuries. He reportedly broke his contract with Polish club Lech Poznań this summer.
Dagerstål said he feels very good and happy about the return, adding that he has worked long for this and had it as a goal. He stated he is not fully where he wants to be physically and is not ready for 90-minute matches, but this is a start. The short-term contract is described as a beginning, with an evaluation to be made later regarding his status in the summer.

Sportchef Henrik Jurelius welcomed the addition, saying it is with great joy they have reached this solution, hoping it can lead to something long-term. He praised the medical team for their hard work.
