A man in his 20s died after an accident in Helsingborg at around 13:30 yesterday, according to police. He was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries but could not be saved. Relatives have been notified. In Uppsala, a man died after a quad bike fell on him during Saturday afternoon; ambulance and rescue services were called, and he was later pronounced dead. Police said it is too early to determine if a crime was committed. In Malmö, a cyclist was hit by a truck on Lockarps kyrkoväg on Wednesday afternoon. The victim, a man in his 70s according to police, was taken to hospital but died. However, conflicting reports suggest the victim was a man in his 50s and a motorcyclist who ended up in a ditch, according to police spokesperson Katarina Rusin. The incident is classified as manslaughter and traffic negligence, said police spokesman Jakob Palmgren. Roads were closed during the rescue operation, including Lockarps Kyrkoväg and a southbound lane on the E6. A traffic investigation will be conducted, including looking at a previous accident at the same location, said police spokesperson Filip Annas. That earlier accident involved a car that hit a concrete well and landed in a slope, with two people taken to hospital and a dog in the car. Additionally, a 21-year-old man was sentenced for causing another's death and traffic negligence after a fatal bicycle accident in Malmö in May last year. He cycled into a woman at a crosswalk on Möllevången and was given a conditional discharge and fines. The man was on a training trip when the accident occurred; emergency services were quickly on scene, but the woman was declared dead shortly after. An air ambulance was also sent. Police have conducted interviews and are working continuously with those involved. The Norwegian Public Roads Administration's accident group was on site and the road was closed until they finished.
