Fanny Barchéus wins silver in Swedish biathlon championship debut

Fanny Barchéus of I19 IF won a silver medal in her debut at the Swedish biathlon championships on March 20, 2026. The 15-year-old reportedly started the sport only this winter. Former national team coach Kalle Grenemark was impressed by her performance, calling her "basically a beginner" and saying it was "really, really good." Barchéus said after the race, "This lights flames." The event took place at Ormberget.
