Members of Enskede IK have voted to retain the club's original shield logo, rejecting a proposed new design. The vote took place at the club's annual meeting, with 144 eligible members present. According to reports, the first round of voting ended in a 69-69 tie, and a second round resulted in a 72-67 decision in favor of keeping the shield.
The outcome was reportedly met with cheers and applause from attendees. The proposed new logo, featuring three overlapping circles, was presented in late 2025 and faced harsh criticism, including from public figures. Initially, the board had not planned to let members vote on the change but reversed that decision after the backlash.
Enskede IK is reportedly Sweden's seventh-largest club by number of participants and has produced national team players.
