Emmaboda Municipality is planning to relocate students from an introduction program in Lindås to Vilhelm Mobergsgymnasiet in central Emmaboda this autumn, according to local media reports. The students affected are part of the introduction program (IM-programmet) where they can improve their grades to become eligible for gymnasium studies. This program has operated in Lindås for many years and serves students with the greatest need for educational adaptations, reportedly offering nearly individualized instruction.
The relocation will move these students to Vilhelm Mobergsgymnasiet, which currently has 193 enrolled students. The program in Lindås has been described as a way to reach students who might not otherwise attend school, providing specialized support for those requiring significant educational adjustments.
