Emma Hoas in Visby discovered needle felting by chance three years ago when she saw a video on social media. She has been hooked ever since. Using special felting needles and a plate or brush as a base, she works wool into various objects, mostly animals like mice and rabbits.
She feels that crafting and making things with her hands gives her a lot. She says that while screens are not necessarily bad and people can create amazing things digitally, many have a desire to create something specifically with their hands.
