The historic auction firm Ekenbergs in Karlshamn was declared bankrupt in early February. A new owner has now been found, according to bankruptcy administrator Erik Gabrielsson. He told Sydöstran that a purchase of the bankruptcy estate is ready, with a verbal agreement in place and formalities expected to be completed later in the day or the next day.
Whether the 16 employees will keep their jobs is currently unclear, but the buyer reportedly intends to continue the business.
