Swedish cross-country skier Ebba Andersson has revealed she struggled with a secret knee injury throughout the season. She reportedly injured the meniscus in her right knee during a training run this summer. Andersson said the knee problems affected her performance, including in the Olympic relay where she crashed.
She also stated she only recently learned she has two screws in that knee from a previous surgery. The season concludes with national championship competitions in Idre.
