Three years after 'Friends' actor Matthew Perry was found dead, another sentencing has been handed down in the case. Jasveen Sangha, known as the 'Ketamine Queen,' has been sentenced to 15 years in prison for her involvement in the actor's death, according to Swedish media reports citing People Magazine.
Matthew Perry died from a ketamine overdose in October 2023 at age 54. He was found dead in his pool in Los Angeles. Sangha was one of five people formally charged in the case, which also included two doctors and Perry's assistant.
Sangha was arrested in August 2024 and reportedly admitted last fall that she supplied Perry with the dose of ketamine that led to his death. The actor's family has reportedly called for the maximum prison sentence in connection with court proceedings.
The sentencing comes as part of ongoing legal proceedings related to the actor's death, which shocked fans worldwide. Perry was best known for his role as Chandler Bing on the popular television series 'Friends.'
