Police in Stockholm stopped a driver in the Vasastan district after a caller reported seeing him holding a wine glass while driving. The driver was taken for a body examination and further investigation, police spokesperson Anna Lärk confirmed. 0 promille, and for aggravated unauthorized driving because his license had been revoked.

It is unclear whether the driver was formally arrested or just detained for testing; major media reports indicate he was not arrested. Lärk noted that it is not common to see someone driving with a wine glass. She added that wine glasses in particular are not common.

The amount of alcohol in the wine glass and the driver's blood alcohol level have not been disclosed.
