Rescue services responded to Ytterby in Kungälv municipality on Thursday evening after a dog became stuck on an ice floe in the river. m. The dog had somehow gotten onto the ice and, as the rescue service described it, "drifted away" on an ice flake.
Rescue services went to the location at Nordre älv with a boat. They used the boat to pick up the dog and handed it over to a happy owner. The dog owner had called and could track the dog because it had a GPS device.
