Dog owner charged after attack on cat in Olofström

A dog owner in Olofström municipality has been charged for failing to supervise their dog, which attacked a neighbor's cat. According to the charge, the owner did not ensure the dog was leashed and muzzled. The dog was in some form of enclosure in the owner's garden but managed to get out, according to prosecutor Jonas Rydgren.

The dog then ran to a neighbor and attacked their cat, which reportedly survived without needing veterinary care. A previous decision from the county administrative board required the dog to be leashed and muzzled outside enclosed areas. The woman admits to the events but denies committing a crime.
