Sean 'Diddy' Combs was convicted on two counts of transportation for prostitution involving his former girlfriend, singer Cassie Ventura, and another woman known as Jane, according to multiple reports. He was acquitted of more serious charges, including sex trafficking and racketeering. The court sentenced him to four years and two months in prison and fined him $500,000.

His release date was originally set for May 2028 but has reportedly been pushed back to June. Combs was accused of drinking homemade alcohol brewed by inmates at the Fort Dix facility, but his representatives have denied these claims, insisting he remains focused on sobriety and self-improvement. In prison, Combs is said to be working in the chapel, enrolled in a rehabilitation programme, and teaching business classes to fellow inmates.

Meanwhile, Usher sparked backlash after insisting he has nothing negative to say about Combs. This comes amid historical abuse allegations, with video footage showing Combs kicking and hitting Ventura at a hotel in 2016 before dragging her across the floor, and he allegedly purchased the surveillance footage for $50,000 the day after the beating to prevent it from becoming public.
