Combs was convicted last July for two prostitution-related offenses but was acquitted of the more serious charges of sex trafficking and extortion, which could have resulted in a life sentence. No decision was made during the two-hour hearing, but circuit judge William J Nardini called it an 'exceptionally difficult case'.
