Italian cyclist Debora Silvestri crashed in the women's Milano-San Remo race in Italy. She flew over a guardrail, fell several meters onto asphalt, and was knocked unconscious. Silvestri was taken to a hospital and has been hospitalized overnight for medical monitoring.
Her condition is stable, and she is in good spirits and feels strong enough to tackle her recovery. She will remain at the hospital for continued monitoring in the coming hours. Several other cyclists also crashed in the race.
