3 billion kroner, has cloned three horses at a facility in Florida. Jorst, who moved from Denmark to the USA in the 1980s as Miss Carlsberg, now lives in Palm Beach Polo & Country Club, where neighbors include Bill Gates and Bruce Springsteen. The first cloned horse was the stallion Nintendo, which has become Nintendo Switch, Super Nintendo, and Nintendo 64.
The second cloned horse was the stallion Zhaplin, which has become Led Zhaplin and Stairway to Heaven. More recently, Jorst cloned her daughter's show jumper. Jorst clones because she is tired of spending years training foals with great potential that come to nothing.
With cloning, she can reproduce her favorite horse and know it will most likely become a champion. According to NRK Dokumentar, Jorst described cloning as like shopping on Amazon and said everyone should clone, calling it the most fun she has done. Blake Russell, the cloning chief, wrote in an email that they have 'more than two pregnancies' but usually does not tell the client how many clones are on the way because they might lose some along the way.
The exact number of clones for Kristin and the location of the cloning ranch remain unknown.
