David Besse filed suit in Florida on March 31 against Disney Parks, seeking damages of more than $50,000. The alleged incident occurred in May 2002 at Disney's All-Star Sports Resort. Besse alleged he was bitten 'numerous times' by bed bugs during his stay. He accused Disney of failing to inspect its hotel rooms.
Besse claimed he suffered 'scarring, bodily injury, pain and suffering, disability, mental anguish and loss of the capacity for the enjoyment of life.' The complaint states the injuries have become 'permanent' and caused 'medical expenses, loss of earnings, loss of the ability to earn money, financial loss and property damage.'
It always amazes me at how well kept up the rooms are.
Disney's All-Star Sports Resort is a value hotel with rooms under $100 per night. The resort underwent major room refurbishments in summer 2022. According to Daily Mail - Home, Gavin Doyle of Mickey Visit described the rooms as well kept up and noted that Disney has been actively refurbishing them to keep them at a modern standard.
Disney has been actively refurbishing all of these rooms to keep them at a modern standard. I stay in all resort levels at Walt Disney World frequently and I am quite content staying in these rooms.
