EasyPark was scheduled to take over as the provider of parking payment solutions via app and SMS in Örebro on September 1, but the transition was paused following an appeal by a competitor. The Administrative Court has now decided that the procurement was lawful, according to official sources. Residents are advised to continue using the EasyPark app when parking on municipal spaces.
Payment can also be made via SMS or at parking meters with a card. The identity of the competitor and the basis for the appeal have not been disclosed. It remains unclear whether further appeal options are available.
