The student union, which represents approximately 11,000 technology and science students at Uppsala University, must leave its current house Uthgård on Polacksbacken by May 31. " However, the move has sparked protests from student sections who feel excluded from decision-making processes.
" The university has proposed the move as a cost-saving measure, requiring student sections to leave their current premises in the old red villas near Ångström Laboratory.
