Before the government's decision to move the County Governor's office to Telemark, there were 34 positions in Skien; now there are 70, officials said. The requirement that half of the staff work in Skien by 2029 will be met, according to NRK Vestfold og Telemark, Fred-Ivar Syrstad described. The total number of employees in the office and the original count in Tønsberg have not been disclosed.
Specific measures for the early relocation remain unclear, as does whether any employees have not yet moved or left.
