A theater production based on a chat scandal involving politicians in Alingsås is reportedly set to debut at Kulturhuset Stadsteatern in Stockholm. According to unconfirmed reports, the play is adapted from the investigation 'Maktens chattar' by journalists Anna Ekström and Michael Verdicchios, which won a Guldspade award. Nanna Olasdotter Hallberg, a writer and program host, is reportedly writing the script and directing the play, marking her theater directorial debut.
The production is said to change all names and incorporate published chats, with some rewritten as dialogue and others displayed on large phones on stage. Gustaf Hammarsten is reportedly making a comeback on the Swedish theater scene after a ten-year absence in connection with this production.
