Other speakers included singer Lauren Jean, who survived a stroke at 17, and Victoria Price, founder of Emello. In her speech, Charlotte Dawson, the daughter of Manchester comedy legend Les Dawson who died when she was eight months old, opened up about facing bullying since childhood.
' But I didn't understand what it meant, I was only 10. ' She also gets trolled by people saying she doesn't know who her father Les Dawson is. Reflecting on this, she added, 'He was just the most incredible man, he's a hero to so many, but he's my hero, I would love my dad back just for one day.
We're literally all the same human beings, why can't we just be nice to each other? Lift each other up and bring each other happiness?
It's incredible hearing all these stories of Les Dawson and how much joy he gave to so many people, but he's my dad, I just want him back for one day, it does break my heart. ' Charlotte Dawson further shared, 'We're literally all the same human beings, why can't we just be nice to each other? ' She elaborated, 'Oh it's constant, I just don't get why people are so nasty?
We're literally all the same human beings, we all go to the toilet the same, why are we nasty to each other? I don't get it. Why can't we just be nice to each other?
Lift each other up and bring each other happiness? ' She also remarked, 'If you don't like me, you secretly do!! ' Charlotte Dawson revealed that she was reported to Social Services when her first child Noah was a couple of months old in 2021.
It was weird for me, it was really hard growing up without my dad, I got bullied at school because I didn't know what Hello magazine was, but because I was in it and didn't know what it was, the bullies at school they were really horrible saying 'Who do you think you are in a magazine?' But I didn't understand what it meant, I was only 10. Growing up without a parent is hard enough, but being in the public eye is exceptionally hard.
She said, 'I got reported to Social Services when Noah was a couple of months old, back in 2021. It was a massive shock to the system, I was a first time mum, and so getting a phone call like that was absolutely heartbreaking I was just trying to do my best like everyone else. ' The report to Social Services said Charlotte Dawson was drinking too much and fell up the stairs with her child.
She commented, '[Someone] said I was drinking too much. ' Who reported Charlotte Dawson to Social Services and what was the outcome of the investigation remains unknown. Among other attendees, Annie Kilner is pregnant with her fifth child with footballer Kyle Walker.
Annie Kilner and her sister Sian patched things up after a feud and attended the event together. The feud between Annie and Sian Kilner was over Sian having a child with a father-of-four who was still with his partner. Kyle Walker fathered two children with influencer Lauryn Goodman, causing turmoil in his marriage to Annie Kilner.
According to major media, Annie Kilner and Kyle Walker got married in a private ceremony in November 2021. Coleen Rooney put her wedding ring back on after her husband Wayne was seen partying with two mystery women. What specific actions are being taken to address the online trolling and bullying discussed at the event has not been disclosed, and the future plans for Helen Flanagan and Brooke Vincent regarding a potential return to Coronation Street are uncertain.
