According to multiple reports, Jill Halfpenny plays television presenter Lucy Logan, while Sally Lindsay portrays Donna, Lucy's obsessive fan. A trailer from Clapperboard Studios has been unveiled, showing Donna telling Lucy she is her 'number one fan' after a chance encounter. Lucy invites Donna to watch her show being filmed, believing she is dealing with an ordinary admirer. However, Donna begins appearing with increasing frequency, causing Lucy to confide that her fan is starting to 'creep me out'.
Clapperboard managing director Mike Benson said: 'We've obviously worked numerous times with two of the most talented actresses in the country in Sally and Jill – but never before in the same show.' Fans have expressed excitement on social media, with one writing: 'Anything with Jill in is good.' Another commented: 'Finally a date! Countdown is on!'
