The Council on Environmental Quality (CEQ) announced the Permitting Innovators program, which seeks technology solutions to accelerate and modernize federal environmental review and permitting. m. ET, with submissions opening on April 28, 2026.
According to CEQ, selected participants will be invited to demonstrate their solutions at the inaugural Permitting Innovators Expo in July. The top solutions will be featured in the Permitting Innovators Solutions Catalog. CEQ and partner agencies identified technology gaps through the Permitting Technology Action Plan, which the program aims to address.
