Centerpartiet has presented a plan for railways in Norrbotten, Sweden. The party wants to see investment in Norrbotten's railways, including a zero-vision for stops on the Malmbanan line. Centerpartiet's party secretary Hannes Hervieu and top candidate Amalie Levring Waara presented the plan in Luleå.
They also want a target date for the Norrbotniabanan railway. The government is set to present the national infrastructure plan this spring, but Centerpartiet believes it lacks visions for railways as investments have been deferred. Infrastructure Minister Andreas Carlson of the Christian Democrats disagrees with the criticism, stating that the government has spent the entire mandate period upgrading the Malmbanan.
