Celtic is reportedly considering Sweden's national team coach Graham Potter for a managerial role next season, according to Football Insider. Potter, who became Sweden's coach in October after being dismissed from West Ham in September, has a contract covering World Cup qualifiers, including a playoff in late March. If Sweden qualifies for the World Cup, his contract will automatically extend over the tournament.
Celtic, currently third in the Scottish league, plans to replace interim manager Martin O'Neill in the summer as part of a major rebuild. The club is expected to gain more clarity on Potter's availability in April after Sweden's playoff against Ukraine. Potter could become a free agent at the end of March if Sweden fails to qualify.
