During the second task of the episode, one famous face hurt themselves and needed medical assistance in the tent. Richard Herring cut his finger while cutting an apple. Host Alison Hammond looked worried as a medic rushed to help Richard Herring. The medic said Richard Herring would be fine. Richard Herring continued with the challenge after the injury.
The latest series of The Great Celebrity Bake Off for Stand Up returned to screens earlier this month. This week's contestants were influencer Molly-Mae Hague, comedian Richard Herring, singer JoJo Siwa, and comedian Babatunde Aléshé. The Signature Challenge required contestants to make a tray bake of their choice. The Technical Challenge required contestants to bake a tarte tatin. The Showstopper Challenge required contestants to bake a 3D biscuit toy.
Ow!
Influencer Molly-Mae Hague was awarded Star Baker in this episode. For the Showstopper Challenge, Molly-Mae Hague made a replica of her famous Love Island Ellie Belly teddy. Judge Paul Hollywood commented that Molly-Mae Hague was the most consistent and gave her a handshake.
After the show, Molly-Mae Hague posted on Instagram about her experience.
I've cut my finger!
Last week, Celebrity Bake Off judge Cherish Finden made her debut on the Channel 4 show. The hit programme returned on Sunday with host Alison Hammond introducing a 'very special' guest judge. Cherish Finden's appearance follows the departure of Prue Leith from the main series after nine seasons. Nigella Lawson has stepped into Prue Leith's role in the main series. Cherish Finden made an impression with a series of X-rated jokes.
The first episode featured returning comedians Joe Wilkinson, Roisin Conaty, Rose Matafeo, Judi Love, Tom Davis, and Jon Richardson. Joe Wilkinson was crowned Star Baker in last week's episode. The first episode's Signature challenge involved breakfast pastries.
There has been an injury.
It's all going off. The medic is in.
Richard might need CPR from me.
I am going to carry on!
Is he going to be okay?! That is all I want to know.
Yeah, he is going to be fine.
I spill blood to win Bake Off!
My inner bake off fan is screaming right now!
Still trying to process that this even happened1! Taking part in Bake Off for Stand Up To Cancer was honestly one of the most insane experiences of my life.
