A caravan fire broke out early Thursday morning in Mörrum, Sweden, spreading to an adjacent caravan and causing significant damage to both vehicles. According to reports from Räddningstjänstsamverkan Småland-Blekinge, the alarm came at 05:40, prompting emergency response teams from both Karlshamn and Svängsta to attend the scene north of Mörrum. The fire reportedly started in one caravan and quickly spread to a neighboring vehicle on the same property.

One person was present in one of the caravans but managed to escape and was subsequently examined by ambulance personnel at the scene. Both caravans sustained substantial damage, with one described as completely burned out and the other as totally damaged. Rescue services expected to continue with after-extinguishing work until approximately 07:00.

The cause of the fire remains unclear at this time.
