A caravan burned down early on Thursday morning, and the fire spread to an adjacent caravan, which was also completely destroyed. One person was affected and is being treated by medical personnel, with ambulance and police on site. The alarm came at 05:40, according to official sources.
Forces from both Karlshamn and Svängsta were alerted to the scene, just north of Mörrum, and it involves two caravans that were on a plot of land when one suddenly started burning, the official sources added. According to SVT Blekingenytt, the rescue center's command operator described the scene as one caravan becoming completely engulfed in flames, with the fire spreading to the adjacent caravan, leaving one extinguished but destroyed and the other burned down. According to NRK Vestfold og Telemark, Steinar Holm, emergency manager at Vestfold Interkommunale Brannvesen, described how the person who was in one of the caravans when the fire started managed to get out on their own with minor injuries and was quickly taken care of by ambulance personnel.

This was the fourth caravan fire in the Höör area since September, the same reports confirm. The cause of the caravan fire near Mörrum remains unknown, and whether it is suspected to be criminal is still under investigation.
