Calvin de Haan of Rögle has been suspended for two games after a slashing incident against Leksand's Andro Kaderli. The referees determined the slash was severe enough to warrant a five-minute major penalty and a game misconduct. The disciplinary committee later decided on the two-game suspension.
Rögle's sports director Hampus Sjöström reportedly commented on the decision, saying it was disappointing in the moment but not something the team would be particularly concerned about moving forward. Rögle is scheduled to play its first two quarterfinal games against Färjestad at home in Catena arena on March 24 and March 26.
