According to SVT Blekingenytt, the incident occurred in autumn 2023 when the student was dismantling scaffolding and was reportedly told by colleagues that safety harnesses were not needed because the remaining guardrail was sufficient. The student slipped and fell over the rail, with his helmet coming off during the fall.
