Matovac, who fell critically ill during the couple's vacation in France, has spent months in rehabilitation in Sweden before making her first transatlantic journey since the transplant.
The Buffalo Sabres organization welcomed Matovac with a tribute video on the Jumbotron at KeyBank Center during their recent home game against the Boston Bruins. This marked her first appearance at the arena this season. Dahlin expressed his joy at the reunion, reportedly stating, "It's absolutely wonderful. Now I'm going to make sure she has a great life here too."
