Emergency services responded to a heavy smoke development at a sawmill in Kåge, Sweden. Multiple units are on site. An alarm operator stated that initial information indicated a fire, and upon arrival, there was heavy smoke coming through the walls.
The fire burned in a sawing machine and spread into a pipe system and from there to a chip cyclone. There is concern that it could spread further, and efforts are underway to prevent that.
