According to the prosecution, Dr Girling sexually assaulted patients and carried out sex acts on them while pretending to examine them for medical complaints.

' The investigation revealed that Dr Girling secretly used his iPhone to record consultations and installed a camera to film other men in a toilet. On his electronic devices, 600 photographs of male genitals or 'tight clothing' were discovered.
