The Municipal Board proposes that the Municipal Council decide on the 2025 annual report for Borås City at the Municipal Council meeting on May 7. In a separate decision, the board has tasked the Local Supply Committee with managing the population protection shelter Krokhallsberget. The University of Borås presented work on Sweden's Textile University at the meeting, with presentations by rector Mats Tinnsten, prorector Anna Cregård, and Anders Stenström, head of Research and Innovation.
The population protection shelter Krokhallsberget is being upgraded by Borås City in consultation with the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency. The Municipal Board decided that Borås City will host the kickoff of the national fundraising campaign Världens Barn on September 26, 2026. The event will be carried out in collaboration with Borås & Co.
