The title track of the video game 007 First Light has been written by composer David Arnold, who has previously worked on five Bond films. The game is a standalone story from the films and novels, following a 26-year-old James Bond as he is recruited into MI6 and gains his 00 title. It will be the first video game featuring James Bond since 2012's '007 Legends'. The release was delayed by two months in December to 'further polish' it.
Singer Lana Del Rey wrote a song for a Bond film in 2015 that was rejected by producers. Lana Del Rey revealed in 2024 that she wrote her song '24' from her album 'Honeymoon' for a James Bond film. She hopes to 'one day' get another chance to be involved in a Bond project.

Actor Patrick Gibson will star as James Bond in 007 First Light, with US singer Lenny Kravitz playing the main villain Bawma and actress Gemma Chan appearing as key MI6 figure Selina Tan. The game is due to be released in May this year.
