The classic entertainment facility Western Farm in Boden is set to close this summer, according to reports from local media. The venue, which opened over 25 years ago with a Wild West theme, will undergo a major transformation into a tourism-focused destination called Björndal Arctic Lodge. Owners Joel Stenvall and Jonas Lundström are planning a 40 million kronor investment to convert the site, which will include a new hotel, restaurant, and spa facility.

Stenvall, who has been a co-owner since 2015, stated that while the investment represents 'an insane amount of money,' they see significant potential in the project. The plans were reportedly presented on Friday, with Norrbottens-Kuriren being the first to report on the development. The owners indicated they have been sketching and planning the transformation for an extended period, with plans taking serious form over the last six months.
