Boaters can only book through the e-service, not by phone or queuing as before. "Last year, there was high demand for the spots and they went quickly," said Joakim Mellqvist, a manager at the technical and property administration. The cost is 230 SEK per day, plus 55 SEK per day for electricity.
After booking, the municipality will notify customers about their assigned spot and payment. If no times appear, it is fully booked; cancellations will free up spots in the e-service. For other dates, boaters must contact the guest harbor office, which opens on May 29.
Last year, there was high demand for the spots and they went quickly. It's fun that so many want to come here by boat during the festival.
How many spots were available last year and what payment methods will be accepted have not been disclosed.
You have to be on the ball when the booking opens. A tip is to already add the date and time in your calendar so you don't miss it.
Currently, there is no e-service for other bookings. If you want to book a spot for other dates, you need to contact the guest harbor office, which opens on Friday, May 29. Only then can you book other dates during the summer.
