A single-vehicle accident occurred on Road 53 near Ärla south of Eskilstuna, Sweden, on Friday morning. According to the Södermanland Police, a car ended up in a ditch during an overtaking maneuver in the northbound direction. The driver was not seriously injured and was able to get out of the vehicle.
Police and rescue services were on the scene. The accident was reported at 07:10, and traffic was able to pass by, but drivers were advised to be cautious due to emergency personnel on the road. According to Trafikverket, traffic was affected in both directions between Ärla Kyrka and Örsta, with impacts expected until around 08:00.
