Bear Wolf Imprisoned Amid Trafficking and Murder Case
Key Points
  • Bear Wolf is imprisoned with an uncertain future amid human trafficking and murder allegations
  • New evidence and police theory suggest Bear Wolf may be an accomplice in the trafficking operation
  • Bear Wolf's mental state and custody developments add complexity to the case

Bear Wolf is in prison with great uncertainty of ever being released, being held on remand for killing Ray Walters. He was held captive on his and Celia Daniels' farm and forced into slave labour, and is a victim of human trafficking. New evidence has emerged, with Robert Sugden and Aaron Dingle finding details after Bear Wolf remembered distinctive registration plates from a vehicle he was forced to clean blood off.

This evidence was not enough to get Bear Wolf released. DS Walsh has a new theory about the human trafficking operation and placed Bear Wolf as an accomplice. Bank statements were recovered from the unit, and they were all in Bear Wolf's name.

Bear Wolf recalled the time Ray Walters told him that he would be cared for in his absence. To DS Walsh, this made it seem like Bear Wolf was actually Ray Walters' partner in crime and that he murdered him to take control of the vicious scheme. Bear Wolf is suffering from Stockholm syndrome and is unable to accept that what Ray Walters did to him was wrong.

Paddy Kirk placed Bear Wolf in a mental health unit, but Bear discharged himself and was taken back into custody. Next week, Zara Adams informs Paddy Kirk that Bear Wolf has been moved to solitary after fighting with another prisoner. Paddy Kirk is overwhelmed that he and Dylan Penders are also looking at a stretch behind bars for helping to cover up Ray Walters' murder.

April Windsor expresses her unwavering love for Dylan Penders, and if he gets sent down, she is prepared to wait for him. Dylan Penders hatches a plan to end their relationship and set April Windsor free if he goes to prison. Paddy Kirk is grateful Mandy Dingle has the salon, but she looks worried.
