The BBC has released a first glimpse at a new eight-part drama titled 'Two Weeks in August'. The series is written and created by Catherine Shepherd, with Tom George serving as lead director for episodes one through four.
The series centers on a group of friends reuniting for a summer getaway in Greece. According to the BBC synopsis, the story follows a woman who goes on holiday with her family and friends to rediscover joy, but an illicit kiss turns the vacation into a nightmare. The group becomes trapped on the island and faces life-or-death situations, leading them to turn on each other.
Jessica Raine stars as Zoe, Damien Molony as Dan, Antonia Thomas as Jess, Nicholas Pinnock as Solomon, Leila Farzad as Nat, and Hugh Skinner as Jacob.
