Jamie Dunn was previously Australia's longest-serving breakfast radio host. He co-hosted the Brisbane breakfast show on B105 for 16 years before leaving in 2005. Dunn was known for voicing a popular puppet character, Agro Vation, which he created from a bath mat.

He first introduced his puppet in the Seven Network children's program Wombat in the 1980s. Dunn later brought his puppet to Agro's Cartoon Connection, which aired on the Seven Network for seven years throughout the 1990s. According to Gary Hardgrave, Dunn woke up 'not feeling too well' and told his partner he was going back to bed for a little while before his death.

The exact cause of Jamie Dunn's death has not been determined. Gary Hardgrave said, 'I've known him for a long time, this bloke was an entertainer his whole life. He loved the crowds, loved the audience, made everyone laugh and made some people cry with some of the funny stuff he did.
