Lindvall's nomination recognizes her implementation of a last-minute appointment system that produced clear results in a short timeframe. At the dermatology clinic, this method led to the fulfillment of care guarantees within three months. According to official sources, queues decreased faster than forecast, missed visits became fewer, and the need to manually call in patients decreased.
The working method has since expanded to more clinics in Region Kronoberg. It has also spread to other regions, with Region Värmland conducting a pilot that yielded similar results and Region Jönköping currently in the process of implementation. This work previously earned Region Kronoberg's quality award in 2024 and has been highlighted as an example of effective collaboration between operations and IT.
